How to start counselling with Helen.

The Details

  • Reach out and get in touch to ask any questions. No question is too small. The best way to contact me is by email or leave a voice/text message by telephone.

​

  • Ideally, we will arrange a free 30 minute face to face introductory session as this is the best way to ask any questions and address any concerns and decide if I am the right counsellor for you. Alternatively, this can be done via Zoom, Teams, or over the phone.  You decide what works best for you.

​

  •  We would start with weekly sessions as it helps to build a good therapeutic relationship.  Some clients overtime feel bi-weekly is manageable and we would discuss adjustments collaboratively. Whilst the stability of the same time, on the same day each week is a good foundation for therapeutic work, I do appreciate life happens and have worked with shift workers and we have managed regular and flexible sessions as necessary.  My clients and I manage good breaks and endings appropriately with plenty of notice.

Each counselling session is 50 minutes and available Thursday/Friday daytime, and Wednesday/Thursday evenings.
